She's shaking hands with Bucky Barnes. She's gained superpowers, traveled in time, and fought aliens, but this is what strikes her as completely surreal. Even before she'd joined SHIELD and been subjected to a few dozen of Coulson's Captain America history lessons, she'd known the man's name, the internet abuzz with everything it could find on the Avengers and their respective pasts. And now, here he is. It feels wrong to be grateful to Mathias for giving her this opportunity.

The mention of the Snap squashes her enthusiasm into something much less fangirly. Crossing her arms, the other one just as bandaged, everything about her demeanor slips into SHIELD mode: serious, calculated, concerned.

"Yeah, my whole team did somehow," she admits, feeling a bit guilty for something she'd had absolutely no control over. "I wasn't on Earth when it happened or I'd have helped in the fight."
